My Students

I teach at the home school program in our small community. I have students who range from Pre-K all the way up to high school. I am the support teacher who meets with the families anywhere from once a week to once a month. The parents are the main educators, but when I meet with them, I am their support.

My students are very independent and are always trying to find a new way to learn and expand their brainpower!

These students need to be given the opportunity to show off their work in different outlets as they get excited when something new is presented to them.

My Project

I want to create a comfortable reading area for my students to read. Having a place to store reading materials AND sit and read is one of my top goals this year.

When you can snuggle up with a good book and kick up you feet, it is an amazing feeling and I see students minds just wander.

If you My students are going places and I want them to enjoy reading as much as I do. Reading opens up the mind to adventure and is so much better than sitting in front of a computer.
