This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I plan to use these resources to create a reading nook in my English Language Arts classroom. As a first year teacher with limited resources, my classroom has room to grow when it comes to providing students with flexible seating and areas to learn and connect.
A majority of my students are English Language Learners--they truly need a place where they can practice a new language together, read in a comfortable environment, and collaborate effectively.
My goals are to create a reading nook where these crucial developmental activities can take place.
