This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This fall, I will welcome a new group of energetic and eager 4th grade students into my ELA and Social Studies classroom. To help them feel at home and ready to learn, I’m creating a space that is calm, inviting, and organized. With your help, I hope to provide cozy bean bag chairs, flower-shaped floor pillows, a reading rug, and a mobile organizer. These items will make a huge difference by supporting student focus, encouraging a love for reading, and promoting collaboration during group discussions and literacy activities.

My goal is to create a learning environment where all students feel comfortable, included, and inspired.

Many of my students benefit from flexible seating and structured spaces to stay engaged. The reading nook and classroom rug will encourage reading stamina and thoughtful discussions, while the organizer and shelf will keep supplies accessible and our classroom clutter-free. Your support will help me set the tone for a successful year of growth, curiosity, and confidence in every learner.
