My Project

I teach a very wiggly and active group of first graders that really benefit from being active during their learning time too. The chairs in my classroom are very old and literally wiggle because they are unlevel, but this is definitely not conducive to the learning of my students.

I would like to replace the old chairs with more comfortable and flexible seating!

This would enable my students to wiggle and squirm as they are thinking through their work, yet come to a stop when it is time for them to write.

Flexible seating in elementary classrooms has proven to produce better test scores and interactive learning. As I continue to give my students the absolute best academically, I would love to give them flexible seating too!
