My Project
I have two futons in my cart because my classroom isn't just a place for academics—it's a safe haven where students come to focus, collaborate, and sometimes just breathe. Many of my students deal with stress, anxiety, and other challenges that make it hard to stay engaged at a traditional desk all day. Having futons will give them a soft, calm area to take a break, read, work in small groups, or simply reset when they need to. These futons will help me create a more flexible and student-centered environment; one that supports both their academic success and emotional well-being.
