Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will help provide my students with an organized environment with clear bin storage for their sensory items and a place where I can print modified materials to their various learning levels. It would also provide them with the soft environment they need during learning and when they need to cool down.
The key is to make their academic environment a welcoming and safe space for them to flourish into independent individuals that will succeed in the future and be seen as a person and not as a disability.
An organized and welcoming classroom is vital for students with disabilities to succeed. That is what this project offers to my students.
