Comfort and Organization for a Better Learning Space

Help me give my students a bean bag chair, a classroom rug, and a rolling cart to our Title I classroom to create a more welcoming, organized, and engaging space for learning.

My Project

I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request to bring comfort, organization, and flexibility to my Title I classroom through three essential items: a bean bag chair, a classroom rug, and a rolling cart. These items may seem simple, but they would make a powerful difference in the daily experience of my students—many of whom face challenges outside of school that make a calm, structured learning space especially important.

A bean bag chair would give students a cozy spot to read or decompress—perfect for those who need a moment of calm or benefit from alternative seating.

It can also serve as an incentive for positive behavior and a special reward that helps build motivation and joy in learning.

A classroom rug creates a central, welcoming space for group discussions, morning meetings, read-alouds, and collaborative work. Right now, we don’t have a rug large enough for students to gather comfortably, and this addition would foster a greater sense of classroom community and routine.

A rolling cart would help me stay organized and mobile—perfect for storing books, supplies, and small group materials. With limited storage in our classroom, this cart would allow me to quickly access what I need and spend more time focused on instruction and support.

As a teacher in a low-income school, I work hard to provide a warm, engaging environment for every child. Your donation would directly improve that environment and help my students feel comfortable, cared for, and ready to learn.
