My Students
Our students are curious compassionate citizens of the world, who set big reading goals for themselves! Our students are strong readers and enter the library every day with excited eyes and eager hearts to find the next adventure.
When my students read many of the new titles I have noticed that they learn about themselves and explore different worlds of reality and imagination with greater focus and reading perseverance.
At MES, you can overhear students talking to their peers about what is going on with their favorite characters and series of books to help this process greatly. Thank you for helping us to keep the conversations going and to inspire readers for life!
My Project
Our library is being transformed in many wonderful ways.
Over the past three months, more than 700 books have been removed due to relevance and condition.
700 new books have been added to the fiction and non fiction collection. The next steps in creating a space with popular books and magazines, is providing comfortable seating. This projects includes two chairs that will be placed in the Everybody book section. The chairs will invite students to sit, be comfortable and enjoy newly added award winning books to the Middletown Elementary collection.
