My students need a meeting rug. My students often gather whole group for circle time, lessons, read aloud and center time. Having a classroom rug will help give a comfortable, organized place to do these activities.

My Students
My students love school! They enter the classroom every day with wonderful energy ready for each new adventure. For many, this is their first experience with school and they are so eager and excited each day! They are curious learners and enjoy reading books, building structures, playing games, and discovering new things! Their faces light up when they learn their letters, numbers, how to read, count and more! My students love hands-on engaging activities that spark their curiosity and help them to develop into independent learners. It is amazing to see how much they learn in a year!
My Project
My students come together each day and meet as a whole group to say hello and find out about the day’s events. They also learn many lessons as a whole group before going off into smaller groups or individually. They love to sit and listen to read aloud as a class. My students also love to stretch out and work on center activities. Having a classroom rug will help facilitate all of these activities. It will give each child a spot of their own to help them be attentive to directions and lessons. They will also have plenty of space to create and build during center time. The colors and shapes of the rug will help to inspire creativity and help with color and shape recognition. This rug will become a wonderful gathering place for my little learners!
