This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are a family of 26. We are part of the Bronx community. My students are constantly finding new ways to learn and expand their learning horizons. My students are a bubbly group of students that are deserving of materials that will have them access more information and challenge their learning!
The joy that comes through my students eyes and smile when they are learning is astounding.
My students have a thirst for knowledge where they are always striving to be better than were the day before day. They are hard working third graders.
My Project
My students are working in a academic environment where they are learning to learn and work cooperatively! They are engaging in conversations that require them to push their thinking beyond just want they see!
Engaging in academic discussion is essential to my students and providing them with the opportunity for educational growth!
My students are always encouraged to work together. Having these seats will allow my students to sit comfortably with each other. I am also trying to engage and encourage my students to learn more than just reading, writing, and math. I want my students to be globally aware of the world around them as well. Having my students access a resource like TIMES FOR KIDS will give my students the opportunity to read articles at their diverse reading levels and learn more about the world they live in!
