My Students

We are an Head Start program. My students are of ages three to five years old. We have all different diversities and we are all unique in our own way. We love to sit and grow together. My class enjoys having large and small group where we all get to sit together and are able to have hands-on learning experience. We also have family oriented meals together and I let them serve their selves and we all communicate and have conversations about what we are eating, what our daily activities will be, as well as what types of food is healthy and good for you and why. We make everything in our classroom a learning experience.

My Project

Having a new table and chairs in my classroom will give the children in my room the experience and opportunity to sit together as a family and share a meal together. It will help them be more social and family oriented ,as well as teach them manners, self sufficient and respect for others. They will be able to learn to serve themselves and to teach them to be more independent. Having a new table and chairs in our room will also give the children an experience to be able to sit together in a group to be able to do hands-on experiences together.
