My Project

Garden Club strives to teach students the science behind sustainable gardening, the importance of maintaining environmental health, the value of food security, and the social and emotional benefits of working together with a common goal. We are a cross-curricular club that partners with the Science Department, Culinary Arts, and other CTE programs.

Students are passionate about creating a sustainable food bank to share extra produce grown with people in need in our community, learning how to compost, creating pollinator gardens around our building, and teaching elementary students basics about growing food.
