My Students

My students cultivate a classroom full of learning, friendliness and ENERGY! They come from a multitude of different economic backgrounds and many speak more than one language at home.

We have football players, cheerleaders, musicians and artists in our room and they all showcase the ability to be enthusiastic and motivated life long learners.

They bring an energy to the school day that is comparable to the football games they play and cheer in! As a teacher, that is enjoyable to experience.

My Project

The use of small groups is almost a daily activity in my classroom. Having this table in my classroom, allows me, my special education teacher and the helpful aides to properly aide children in learning new math and science concepts!

This teaching table will help my students by allowing them to work in small groups in an interactive, collaborative environment.

This also allows me to track their progress and interact with them on a more personal level.

Currently, I have a table that allows me to work with two to three children. With this new table, I am able to pull at least four to six. I am so excited to work with more students who need a little extra practice with our daily concepts!
