This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My Kindergarten class consists of 21 students who come in each morning eager to learn and do their absolute best.

I teach in a Title I school, located in a city booming with diversity, and students come from a wide range of backgrounds, speak a variety of languages, and have huge imaginations!

Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method in which they learn best varies greatly. I make it my goal to incorporate a variety of learning strategies and opportunities to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are. This bunch is truly an incredible group, and I love watching them beam with excitement and confidence when they are successful.

My Project

I love finding new games and centers that perfectly align with a child's needs and interests. I print picture cards for sound sorts, math games, and real life science pictures for exploring. With this new color printer, I will be able to print pictures, games, and centers to reach each and every one of my students. I would also use the printer to print certificates and awards to motivate and congratulate each of their individual successes.

A printer would surely play a part in livening the learning in our classroom.
