Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are bright, creative, and full of potential. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring a wide range of experiences and perspectives into our classroom. What I love most about them is their curiosity and the pride they take in expressing who they are. I want to create a learning environment that reflects and celebrates their identities while helping them stay organized.

This project will provide inclusive supplies, affirming visuals, and essential organization tools to support both creativity and structure in our classroom.

The skin-tone markers and pencils will allow students to create self-portraits and illustrations that truly represent themselves and their communities. Stickers and posters featuring Black and Brown people will serve as daily affirmations, helping students feel seen, valued, and inspired. The plastic drawer organizers will help us keep our materials tidy, making it easier for students to access what they need and take ownership of their space.

My goal is to build a classroom that is not only functional but also affirming and empowering. With your support, we can create a space where every student feels proud of who they are and excited to learn every day.
