My Students

My students are incredible, curious, kind, and fun-loving kids. They are eager to explore different ways to express themselves through various art mediums. Once the kids get to work in our classroom, honest-to-goodness magic happens. I love them all dearly!

My Project

In our classroom, we will use colored pencils as part of our art projects. These will be used for a handful of projects over the term.

These pencils are perfect for our color-theory unit.

We will study how to blend some colors to make other colors, and discuss how color affects the way we view things. Students get so excited over the "magic" of color, amazed at how a red and a yellow can come together to create an entirely new color. I love seeing the wonder in their eyes as they learn something new, and get to share a piece of themselves in their final projects.
