This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students vary in age from 12-17. They are all diverse learners with special needs. Each learner comes to school with a positive attitude and is eager to learn.
My students have a variety of learning disabilities.
Each student has their own needs and learning must be centered around their needs. Each student enters the class with a different learning style which must be addressed in order for them to have access to the curriculum. With hard work and dedication, the possibilities are endless.
My Project
My students need a color printer in order to enhance their learning. Students need colored visuals in order to be fully engaged.

Having a colored printer in the classroom allows for me as a teacher to have the opportunity to differentiate instruction. The majority of classroom group work is done through workstations. Being able to color code student work will also assist in assessing students, designing future instruction, and student grouping. Having a colored printer will allow me to color code for differentiation. I will be able to color code texts, print colored worksheets for all of my diverse learners, and print images for students to see.
Color images draw the eye and engage the imagination, as well as adding realism to print.
Students will work on projects and engage in collaboration with group members. Students will be using the color laser printer to strengthen their presentation and build communication skills. This is a great opportunity to differentiate instruction and give each diverse learner access into the common core curriculum.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
