Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
With students home for the remainder of this school year, emotions have been all over and many are struggling to accept the loss of physically going to school. Our students are home with limited resources, many visiting school-sponsored food trucks for weekday breakfast and lunch. Books, creative materials, and basic supplies are unlikely to be available at their homes.
My Project
Help give my students fun and engaging coloring books and project packs for safe creating at home. Many of my students do not have materials at home to color with and are likely unable to visit stores now to purchase materials - either due to stores being closed or family resources not being available.
Coloring books and activity packs will bring joy to my students.
My students are unlikely to have materials like these available to them. My students enjoy fun, exciting creative experiences and will greatly enjoy coloring characters and solving puzzles safely at home.
