Coloring Creates Cheerful Children

Help me give my students Crayola coloring books to calm and focus during this very stressful time.

My Students

My students are at home living in one of our states major hot spots of Coronavirus. They are bored. They are scared. They need support.

They are so lonely and need to find things to do to stay active to make it through.

We did a video activity on a day in my life during the virus and it broke my heart. Many kids are home alone taking care of younger siblings while trying to get their work done. They are sharing one computer for the whole family. The feeling of frustration and loss are overwhelming. I'd like to help brighten up their day.

My Project

I talk with my students daily and the message is always the same: they are bored and they are stressed. They need to find healthy ways to manage these emotions. I've recommended coloring and dancing to help them. They really love the dancing but many do not have access to coloring supplies.

Coloring calms the mind and helps create greatly needed peace during this stressful time.

Please help us get the supplies my kids need to achieve this peace. Once I receive the books, I will travel around and drop them off outside my kids' homes.
