Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are inner-city students with a predominantly Hispanic background. They are the nicest students I have ever taught! They are eager to learn and every year we make great progress.
This year, I am focusing on improving my students' learning and social and emotional skills.
To be happier, they need creative supports that decrease their anxiety. They need an environment that shows love and care to encourage them to do their very best each and every day. They need basic supplies in the classroom to be confident. This is my dream!
My Project
Please give my students coloring pencils, markers, a computer program for graphic designs, and holiday chocolates.
My students need more supplies to color maps, graphics, and posters, as well as a graphic design program to make more creative projects for civics and social studies.
After 4 months of school, my students have used up many of our classroom supplies for making maps, graphic organizers, posters, and other creative projects. Also, the graphic design program would enable me to help my students make more creative electronic projects. The chocolates are for the holiday classroom party.
