This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are truly exceptional because of their remarkable diversity, boundless curiosity, and enthusiastic engagement. Each student brings a unique perspective and a rich tapestry of experiences that enriches our classroom environment. Their innate curiosity drives them to explore new ideas and ask insightful questions, fueling dynamic discussions and deepening their understanding. However, they are still young and are learning how healthy outlets for their mental health.
These art supplies will help students create self-expressive art, poetry, annotations, and journals.
By expressing themselves and reflecting on their individual and shared experiences, students will gain cathartic insight on their identity which in turn will benefit their mental health.
