Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love that my students come to school every day ready to learn in their own unique ways. As a kindergarten and first grade special education teacher for students with extensive support needs, I get to see the joy on their faces when a lesson clicks or when they feel proud of their work. My students are curious, resilient, and full of potential.

A color printer will help me create the visual supports and individualized materials my students need to access learning.

Many of my students rely on picture schedules, colorful charts, and communication boards to understand routines and express themselves. Being able to print these resources in color makes them clearer, more engaging, and easier for my students to use.

This printer will also allow me to prepare learning games, worksheets, and classroom visuals that match my students’ goals and learning styles. Additionally, having a reliable printer means I can print important IEP documents and progress updates right in the classroom, ensuring my students’ supports are always up to date.

With this resource, I can make learning more accessible, personalized, and fun, helping each of my students shine in their own way.
