My Project

This colorful and spacious rug provides a safe place for the center of our classroom. This rug will allow students to gather each day for morning meetings, listen to book readings, and sit/lay comfortably throughout the entire day with plenty of space to take charge of their learning.

I am a beginning teacher that looks forward to creating a fun, welcoming, and safe classroom where students are eager to learn and create.

This colorful and expressive rug allows students the choice to gather together on their favorite color or shape. I hope to provide my future 1st graders with seating options that work for each of them. While I plan to gather my students on the rug every day, I also want to provide students with the option to grab a clipboard and use the carpet for their independent work.

I have seen how choice can positively impact student learning and I hope this large carpet will provide them the room to grow!
