Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All of our K-4 students enjoy coming to school in a safe, welcoming environment. When entering the classrooms, teachers are always trying to find ways to create routines and structure to foster a safe environment for all to learn. The help of colorful carpet spots, timers, and the ability to laminate items for students' schedules will support routines that students lack at home.
Providing routines in safe environments helps students learn and overall enjoy coming to school.
When students have set routines it gives them the freedom to learn new topics and create friendships.
