Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are a bright, motivated, and passionate bunch. We are part of a large urban school that often struggles to fund the necessary resources for everyday classroom happenings.
They love working together and learn better when they collaborate in engaging activities and projects.
I'm hoping that with new materials, we have more incentive and opportunities to work together with hands-on learning.
I appreciate your support in giving us the funds to keep our kids comfortable, healthy, and surrounded by bright, exciting materials for their creative endeavors!
My Project
The end of the year is filled with opportunities for group activities and creations--and this is where the materials come in! We'll be looking for supplies like colorful paper and a laminator to give final produces that extra-finished look!
We'll be working together in the coming months to create brochures and posters to display our research on recycling and reducing our use of plastic to cut down on harmful effects to the environment.
These materials will be perfect for displaying their hard work!
