This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are in second grade and they attend a public Title 1 school. My students are wonderful children that are excited to learn and they put the effort in their work. They need differentiated instruction, therefore, providing them with different practice pages will be beneficial.
They are working below grade level in math but they have so much potentia,l and I would like to provide them with resources that will help them think and guide them to solve math problems.
This color printer will help me print words and pictures in color that will bring their attention, and it will also be an organized way for them to tell apart some equations and words as they can be labeled in different colors. The printer will also help me provide them with extra practice pages. For science and social studies, the students will be able to see colorful pictures of our current topics, instead of looking at a black and white copy. Our school copier only makes black and white copies. My students and I will be so happy and thankful for this printer. We will be able to meet every student's needs. I don't have a printer in my classroom, and it will help me print any documentation I have to send home to families. I would love to have a copier in my classroom so I can print and make any copies needed without a hassle of waiting for the office copier.
