Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class is full of dedicated students who come to school ready to learn. Most of them are English Language Learners who have struggled with math in the past. These kids want to be good in math, but several of them have not been able to learn how to be good at it. My goal is to help them be good at math. Students must complete 4 years of math in order to graduate from high school. They need to get better at it.

My Project

I've used interactive notebooks in my math classes with great success. The notebooks are fun and colorful. Therefore, students enjoy creating them and value them as a wonderful resource.

The colored paper and laminating pouches students use to create these notebooks teach them to cooperate, share ideas, and respect each other.

So your donation to this project will help them to accomplish more than just learning math.

These notebooks will be used not only to facilitate note-taking, but also to help students learn how to learn. This is the best gift I can give to my students: learn how to learn. This knowledge will stay with them forever and will help them in future classes.
