My Project

We are requesting colored pencils, drawing paper, and a selection of board games to support both creative learning and positive indoor recess experiences.

Colored pencils and drawing paper will allow students to bring their ideas to life.

Whether they’re illustrating stories, making visual math models, or expressing themselves through free drawing, these materials help build confidence, imagination, and fine motor skills. Currently, our art supplies are very limited, and students have to share worn-down materials that don’t allow them to fully explore their creativity.

Board games such as Connect 4, Guess Who, Trouble, and Uno will give students meaningful, screen-free options during indoor recess. These games help them practice taking turns, communicating respectfully, solving problems, and working together—skills that are essential both in and out of the classroom. Many of my students look forward to indoor recess as a time to build friendships, and having quality games will make these moments even more enjoyable and enriching.
