This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are visual learners. We do STEM activities that require different types of paper for creating roller coasters. We also use the colored paper for our math binders. We have studied brain research and what colors do for our brains as we learn.
The students will use the supplies throughout the year to facilitate learning in many different projects.
Using color is more enticing for students to be actively engaged in a lesson and stay engaged. This will make the hands on projects that are created for students easier to accomplish.
My students will love the fun times ahead knowing that we can do projects in color.
