My Project
I am a self-contained autism teacher in an ABA/iGoal classroom. My students exhibit challenging behaviors throughout the entirety of our day due to their communication and social skills. Despite the many challenges that they face, they come to school every day with smiles on their faces and excited to learn. I am looking to make my classroom an environment that is both welcoming and safe for my students.
I want to provide them with opportunities that they otherwise would not have access to and make my classroom a place where they can learn, create and feel comfortable.
Working in a low-income, high poverty, urban school district is something that I am very passionate about. I want to make a difference in the lives of my students, no matter the cost. I have spent unspeakable amounts of my own money to try to create a classroom that my students deserve to come to every day. Your donations will not only change the dynamic of my students' classroom but also their lives!
