My students are entering their first year of middle school and last year in a non-grouped math class.
It is my job to untangle the myth about a math brain and prepare each student for their future classes. I want them to see that being a good thinker will help them in all of their classes.
My Project
Colorful charts and paper will help bring lessons and student products to life. Bulletin board decorations with a CAN DO message reminds students that they can do anything if they are willing to try - even if the task is difficult.
Dry erase film will be used to create tables where students can work.
It is amazing how excited children are to write on a table. My old surface was worn out so I had to remove it. The class will be thrilled to have it back. Reluctant learners love to get help as long as it involves a marker.
