Colorful Learning Squares for Awesome Second Graders

My students need to move around the classroom to do work, but our classroom has no carpet. WE need carpet pieces.

My Students

I have a very enthusiastic bunch of second graders who are eager to learn, but a lot of them do not have the financial support it takes to provide learning materials for home or in the classroom. A lot of them have not had the luxury of certain real life experiences and it is my job every day to bring learning to life for them.

My students love to learn and are excited to come to school every day to do just that.

My Project

"I am tired of sitting on this cold floor".

Second-grade students love to have the option to move around and do their work.

Traditionally, we stay in our seats, because the floor is cold or the carpet has too many germs. With these learning circles, students will learn to be responsible for keeping their learning space clean and they will also have the option to move their learning circle where ever they want to.

We would be able to use these learning circles for any subject or activity and there would be no complaining about who it belongs to.
