Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My fourth graders enjoy writing very detailed essays and adding color to their writing through illustrations. Some of my students come from various socioeconomic backgrounds and having crayons and other resources are often not something they have readily available at home.

The colored pencils, crayons, and cardstock will help them bring their stories to life.

With these materials they will be able to illustrate their essays. They will also use their crayons, pens, and colored pencils during our math lessons. Students will be able to draw their dream home after they learn about area and perimeter. They will also create and illustrate their own math word problems.
