My Project

My classes are all Algebra 1 students. Many times, they need visuals to help them remember a lesson. I create anchor charts (posters) specific to our lessons. The students use these for their classwork.

Colorful algebra-specific hand-drawn posters can help students remember far better than a lecture or plain black-and-white.

The notes and posters can be made lesson-specific, with acronyms and memory cues.

This allows the student to make the same mini poster from memory on the test. The color in the notes and the posters helps students remember better. Any visual cues I can demonstrate and show to my students help improve long-term memory of our learning concepts.

Any tool I can provide to help the students is crucial for their success and confidence.
