Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are students with disabilities who face challenges both in and out of the classroom. The goal of this project to celebrate their accomplishment, develop their creativity, and build their confidence. The art project will not only provide them with a calming, therapeutic experience but also give them a chance to express their emotions and reflect on their year.
As the school year comes to a close, my students are in need of a meaningful way to relax, express themselves, and celebrate all their hard work!
Through this project, I aim to give my students the opportunity to unwind and celebrate their growth through art, specifically with canvas painting.
