My Project

My students will be receiving a button maker from a previous project! In class we read a story called Ready Freddy Save the Earth where Freddy earns a button for being a member of the Green Team and completing his Earth Day Challenge. My students watched me create buttons for this, and they were so interested in the process.

Button making is a STEAM activity where they create their own designs and I would like to have a color printer so they can learn to print colorful designs instead of just black and white.

Students design the buttons and then use the machine to put the pieces in order, use the lever to put it together, and then get to wear their designs.

With a button maker of their own, students can design and make buttons for all kinds of accomplishments such as Rocking Reading, Math Whiz, Happy Helper, and more!
