Help me give my students the materials they need to express themselves in creative ways and explore their learning through art with new classroom markers.
The sweet kiddos in my class are inquisitive and creative. They love to explore new information, and class free time is frequently spent researching the characters or settings in our stories, practicing multiplication or division, or learning more about our science focus (currently: invertebrates). Of their own volition!
This amazing bunch of kids love to express their understanding creatively!
Learning is often exhibited through posters, drawings, and graphic organizers. My students inspire me daily to delve deeper into my lessons.
My Project
In our class, we seek to explore new content in a variety of ways so that we can better connect to the learning and build more meaningful knowledge. This goal means that we rarely limit ourselves to paper and pencil, and instead broaden our learning horizons by creating.
With new classroom markers, my students will be able to showcase their understanding through vibrant posters, reports, and projects that encourage them to dive deeper into the content.
Some recent highlights include creating a gallery wall to explore the Harlem Renaissance, summarizing our reading in the form of film posters, and crafting up get well soon cards for our classmates who are home sick.
We have some exciting projects coming up soon, and I would love to support my students with new markers to replace our mostly dried-out and fading selection. Upcoming activities include acrostic poem valentine cards for Arizona's birthday, a multiplication color-by-number classroom mural, and book report dioramas.
