it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are creative, curious, and hardworking. But in this unprecedented moment, they’re facing extra challenges getting the materials they need to be successful.
Each day, my students arrive with a smile on their face, eager to try new things and grow as learners.
Our school strives to find a leader in each of them and believes every child has unlimited talents and strengths. I teach in a 3rd grade classroom in a Title I elementary school where many of my students come from low-income families.

My Project
Your support would show my students that right now there are people who believe in them and want them to succeed.
As we return to our classrooms, we see the need to change many of our routines and procedures to adhere to all the CDC guidelines/protocols and a new way of teaching.
I teach in a dual language setting where we color code the language of instruction as blue for English and red for Spanish. Many of our labels, helper charts, and procedures were set up for small group instruction or communal use. Now we need to set up areas with individual working spaces and individual use of materials such as helpers or color coded reference materials. The use of a colored printer will be so helpful to set up and organize the materials our students need. With this color printer, you are not only supporting our students' education, you are bringing life and color into our classrooms. Thank you so much for helping us!
