Colorful Classroom Creations
My students need markers to complete different class projects.
Have you ever tried to complete a task and you do not have the right tools? That is what is happening in my classes right now. We are trying to create colorful representations of ourselves and our values and the markers are dry.
Our Middle School is a diverse high-need school comprised of over 1,000 students in grades 6 to 8.
Half of our student population currently receives free or reduced priced lunch. Approximately half of our students receive support services in addition to their core classes. Many of our students are not native English speakers.
My students are trying to complete projects about themselves but the markers are dry and we keep losing certain colors. It is really hard for students to take pride in their work when they can not achieve a certain dream because the tools they have, are holding them back.
Please help us by donating markers to my students.
Every year we use markers to bring our work to life and it is hard when they can not achieve the success they would like. Having working tools will help get the job done the way it needs to be done.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
