My kindergarten classroom is made up of a diverse set of backgrounds. These include English language learners, special education students and those receiving free or reduced price lunches. However, their personalities are too vast to list.
Most importantly, my students love coming to school, learning and simply being a curious, excited kindergartner.
They are a group of fun-loving, energetic, amazing wild things!
Help us build a caring classroom community! Having a colorful, organized room will help build community and make transitions, identification and learning more effective.
My Project
Colorful carpets under each set of tables was just the beginning to this classroom make-over! We wish to continue with this theme of making identification of groups much easier for students, and, me, their loving teacher!
"Green Table, grab your math books," "I love the way Yellow Table quickly organized their supplies," "Purple Table, put away your reading books."
Lakeshore, a teacher supply store, offers the perfect solution for this! Book bins, supply caddies, and organizational totes in vibrant colors would not only add pizzazz to our already exciting classroom, but would eliminate the issue of which groups are being alluded to and where their materials can be found.
Thank you for your donations! My students will forever be grateful to no longer be referred to as, "Hey, you kids over there, grab your items from over there."
