This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We would love to start off the new school year with colorful basic supplies, such as pencil pouches and homework sleeves, and of course, crayons! We are also asking for a set of cards that introduce letters and sounds to students in a research-based, scientific approach to reading. The supplies would all be presented to the students at the beginning of the year and the letter/sound cards would be displayed as they are taught to create a 'sound wall.' It would be a huge help and support to all of us to start off the 25/26 school year with these special supplies.
