Colorful Assignments Spark Joy For All Students, Even High Schoolers!
Help me give my students colorful assignments. Students often have a backpack full of papers, and searching for one specific page can be very difficult. When items are color coded it makes it easy to maintain an organized system.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students are back to paper/pencil activities, moving away from completely online assignments. Copies on boring white paper don't spark joy for the students.
When students get an assignment on a brightly colored page, they get interested and are more willing to try something new!
I'm my classroom all assignments are color coded using the different colored copy paper, and the colors match up with sections in the gradebook. Students get a color coded monthly printout to know which area they are struggling in and then they can grab assignments from that gradebook section to boost their points. Some students are pushing themselves for an A and some students are just trying to pass a challenging class.
Let's bring the colorful excitement that we all remember from elementary school up to the high school campus! They are just big kids after all!
