Colorful and Creative in 2nd Grade

Help me give my students colorful supplies such as stools, dry erase markers, and poster, that they need to inspire them to have the best school year ever!

My Students

I teach 58 energetic and curious 7 year-olds. We live in a small, rural town in southwestern Utah surrounded by geologic wonders and fragile desert habitat. Opportunities for jobs are limited here, but the natural resources are endless.

These kids grow up outdoors, camping, fishing, and exploring their desert backyard.

They are inspired by this fascinating landscape and love to learn about their world and their environment. Science is their favorite subject by far.

My students love their small town and their immense backyard.

My Project

These colorful classroom supplies will help inspire my new 2nd graders to be excited to learn. Kids LOVE writing with Expo markers- they even have fun writing spelling words! Colorful growth mindset posters will remind the kids that they are capable of great things.

Colorful, red stools will brighten up our reading table and make it an exciting place to work.

Bright paper for assignments, colorful pens to write with, and watercolor paper for creativity will make sure we have a fun and inspiring classroom! Kids need to want to be at school and having a colorful and creative classroom will make all the difference!
