Our students come from a variety of rural subdivisions and neighborhoods in the lower Puna district on the island of Hawaiʻi.
There is a strong sense of community and family in this area and our students learn in safe and encouraging classroom environments.
Any and all kōkua (help) is greatly appreciated in ensuring students continue to be supported by our community!
My Project
Learning in third grade can be tough; however, with colored paper, it can help make learning easier and much more manageable. Organization helps students with their ability to be self-directed learners and complex thinkers.

Lots of our learning tools are set up for the quarter and colored coded by subject. Having these tools will help students organize their learning in meaningful ways while also learning to be aware of their learning tools that we are using!
