Kindergarten is a bright and colorful place. Every day 20 beautiful children arrive ready to learn. I don't think there is another age that is this eager to learn. Colorful materials capture these eager young minds. I need to print at least ten colored pages a week to go with our curriculum.
I work at a new school in our community that opened last year.
We have a wonderful group of parents who are very interested in getting the best education possible for their children. We are full of wonderful students and teachers. Our school is the first charter school in the area and we had the best year. We have a long wait list of area students who want join us. We have a great school with great students and great teachers.
My Project
Every week there are materials to be printed that go with our curriculum to help in teaching the material. As we teach letters and sounds there are colorful cards with pictures of items that start with the letter sounds. When we teach poems there are picture cards that go with the words, and as we teach math concepts there are colorful vocabulary words that represent what is being taught.
Since this is the first year we have taught the material, there will be a lot of printing to do this year.
I plan to print these item on card stock and laminate them so that I can reuse them in future years. In order to make colorful teaching materials I need colored ink. Thank you for considering helping to color our world.
