Help me give my students colored ink for our first-grade and kindergarten classrooms; those little learners who really benefit from visuals and color-coded materials.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Last year our school was lucky enough to finally get color printers for each teaching team. We found that being able to print reading passages, number grids, and anchor charts helped engage students and better process the information we were teaching. We can show these colorful charts, diagrams, and pictures on our smart boards but it's so much more valuable for students to be able to hold the materials themselves. This year we are out of color ink for our printers and our school doesn't have room in the budget to fund this vital school supply.
Your donation would help fund the ink supply for our first-grade and kindergarten classrooms; those little learners who really benefit from visuals and color-coded materials.
