Color Wonder! Enhancing Learning with a Color Printer

My Students

I am lucky to teach 19 wonderful kindergarten students in a small, rural community in Florida. My school is a Title I school, with 100% of students receiving free breakfast and lunch. Despite the challenges that my students face outside of the classroom, they are hard working and eager to learn each and every day. From the minute they walk in my door, I focus on their potential and growth while they are with me. My students are what drive me every single day to not only be a better person but to be a better teacher.

My Project

My kindergarten class is in need of a HP inkjet color printer and refill ink cartridges to help bring our work and classroom alive. A color printer will allow me to create and print bright, colorful materials and visual aids needed for daily teaching. It will be used to print colorful learning mats and games that will help improve understanding as well as increase student engagement in reading and math. The printer and ink cartridges will also be used to print out our classroom photos we take weekly to show what we know and do in kindergarten.

By donating to our “Color Wonder!” project, you will enhance my students’ learning and understanding in a bright and colorful way.
