My Project

Many of my students are "doing science" for the first time here in Junior High School. They are making observations, conducting experiments, creating graphs, and making claims based on evidence. They have become weary of using their Chromebooks for everything and I have noticed that they are much more engaged in non-screen activities. They need more hands-on manipulatives, colored graphs and things they can observe which are not digital.

Having a color printer would enable me to make large photos of phenomena for students to observe, make large colored graphs to interpret, make color-coded experiment stations, and publish student work in color.
