Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are enthusiastic learners that are engaging in the challenging tasks of distance learning by joining Zoom meetings and participating in lessons that have many interruptions from their home.
These challenges don't discourage them from showing up and being present even in this new way of learning.
Their growth mindset allows them to change and explore all the new aspects of their learning with many questions that come up as we continue our new way of learning.
My Project
The materials I am selecting will help my students do some fun activities while they practice reading, spelling and coloring, skills through word searches, coloring books, and a fun game of hangman.
These materials will make staying home fun and students can continue to enrich their learning.
I want to ease the minds of my students by helping them have fun with some materials that might not be accessible to them. These materials can be used with their families so that new learning experiences can take place in their home environment.
