My Project
Creating real life designs in the classroom is paramount. I am a reading and language arts teacher. I need the color printer in the classroom for all the students to use to print out their designs when they complete them. We work on projects that includes flyers, magazine ads, posters, and newspaper article. Printing them in color will give the full effect of what it means to add graphics to the article or ad. I truly believe that learning can be fun and innovative.
Since more than half of graduating high school students will not to able to go to college, learning a skill while they are still in high school will give them a kickstart when it come to making a living and becoming productive citizens.
On the other hand, if the student wishes to apply for college or enter the job market, they will have a beautiful full color portfolio of their work to present.
In a growing competitive market, there must be an urgency to have skills that will transcend to the betterment of life. Training is one way to become better at the craft. The color printer in the classroom will help make the student’s work more authentic and competitive.
